My name is Nathan David Gibson. I often go by Nate Gibson. You have found your way to my website and I thank you. This is the story of me.
I was born in St. Louis, MO, the Gateway to the West. Or is it the Mid-West? I have fond recollections of St. Louis including Cardinals games, Steamers games, Ted Drewes frozen custard, my first bike-a yellow Schwinn, wrestling our miniature poodle Lizzie and renting my first book from the library-a book on motorcycles which I never returned. There was never any soda, unless our babysitter was a temp and wasn't told this rule, and I had a crush on my kindergarten teacher. We moved to Garden City, Kansas when I was seven years old. My father was a preacher and my mother was a Mary Kay consultant. My favorite baseball player was Andy Van Slyke. I can't recall what type of music I most enjoyed, but I remember Richard Simmons' 'Sweatin' to the Oldies' being a frequent backdrop in our home. My favorite stuffed animal was a giant Tramp, from the Lady and the Tramp movie, which I got at Disney World. He was on the top shelf.
